MTN Office Attacked By Armed Robbers

Armed Robbers have invaded MTN office in Tundun Wada area of Kebbi state carting over N4 million.

DSP Nafi’u Abubakar, spokesperson of Kebbi state Police Command confirmed the unfortunate incident to newsmen.

Abubakar disclosed that investigation had already begun to find the culprits behind the attack.

Ibrahim Dasuki, MTN Manager also spoke to newsmen. He explained that armed robbers who wore dark masks stormed the office around 2pm on Wednesday Jan 22, 2020, stealing N4.5 million.

“The armed robbers carried out the operation in less than five minutes when they stormed our office at around 2.00pm, and carted away nothing less than N4.5 million, ” Dasuki said.

“On arrival, the robbers, armed with AK 47 ordered all the people outside the office to lay down while wielding their guns.”

“As soon as they got into the office, they demanded for the money by asking where is the money, where is the money?

“They carted away the money in less than five minutes operation; they stole over N4.5 million,”
