A newborn’s body had to be exhumed from muddy drainage at the Shango area of Minna, Niger State after being allegedly dumped by one of the students of the state’s College of Education.
According to Laiyee Badeggi who took pictures of the scene and posted them online, the drainage where the baby was found is just at the back of a hostel where students of the institution reside, implying that one of them would be the original mother.
Laiyee wrote, “This is the result of my daughter is schooling in high institution, without knowing the kind of life, dey live in campus.
“Ya Allah ka shiyar da zuryar mun.
This baby was found in one gulter in Shango Minna the residence of almost C.O.E students.”
