Fifteen years into the rapper’s impressive career run, Nicki Minaj (the queen of rap) finally earns a top solo spot on Billboard’s hot 100 with her recently released single ‘super freaky girl’.

Alongside this record achievement, she also broke several other personal and billboard records for this single within the first week of its debut.
Some of those records include being the first lead female artist to debut at the top spot in 2022, the first female rapper to debut at number 1 in this century, and the first female rapper to debut multiple songs in the number one spot on the Hot 100.
After years of literally being blackballed by the industry, and being snubbed by the academy awards, this is very much a victory for the rapper and her fans who have been fighting for this spot by buying and streaming her music as much as they can every time she releases a new single or album.
