A Nigerian activist and social media influencer, JJ. Omojuwa has been detained in South Africa in the midst of the heightened Xenophobic attacks on Nigerian nationals.

The Nigeria activist who is a guest at a United States Government-organised symposium holding in South Africa took to his social media page to report that he is being detained by the South African border police because of his Nigerian passport.

JJ Omojuwa who according to him was asked to return to his country by one of the ladies present took to his social meida page to reveal that he has been isolated by the border police.
