Nigerian man shot dead in South Africa over N6,000 debt

A Nigerian man identified as Jarule, has allegedly been shot dead by South African security operatives over N6000 debts in rand.

This incident comes after another Nigerian was shot dead by the South African police sometime in August.

The deceased hails from Ifako Lagos, and was shot twice at Johannesburg Central Business District (CBS).

According to Charles, an eyewitness, who’s also a friend to Jarule, he disclosed that the deceased was killed for his inability to pay his rent.

‘Jarule pays N6,000 at the parking lot, monthly. He was shot twice by the security men for owing for a month.’
