Nigerian Student Shot Dead over Loud Music

A Nigerian student, has been shot dead by his neighbor over Loud music in America.

This incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 6.

18-year-old Oluwafemi Oyerinde was a Nigerian student, studying in Kennesaw State University. He was studying Mechanical engineering and was dreaming of joining the Military.

His family believes that the cause of the Nigerian Student being shot is because of Loud music.

Oluwafemi was not the only victim of this fatal shooting, as two other people were also shot dead at the Stadium Village Apartment early Sunday morning.

The three boys were on their way out when the suspect opened fire on them. Although the other two survived, the Nigerian student was the only one confirmed dead.

The police seem to have an idea of who shot the Nigerian Student.

The police believe it to be Kashman Rael Thomas. He is accused of killing 18-year-old Oyerinde. Two other people were also shot and wounded that day, 18-year-old Khalil Bennett and 18-year-old Jarius Bonner.

Further investigation was carried out, and it was discovered that about 159 grams of Marijuana in Thomas’ room.

Tammy Demel , KSU spokeswoman also confirmed that Oyerinde was a student of the University.

Demel said,”“It is with profound sadness that the University confirms the deceased victim, 18-year-old Oluwafemi Oyerinde, was an enrolled student at Kennesaw State University,”.

A candle-light vigil was held for the Nigerian Student at the Legacy Gazebo on the Kennesaw
