Nigerians have taken to social media to react to yet another video of the Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, allegedly receiving bribes from contractors in dollars.
In the new 2.20-minute video, Ganduje could be seen conversing with another man, whose face was not shown, in Hausa while receiving bundles of dollar bills and keeping same under a table.
The Daily Nigerian, which published the video, has accused Ganduje of collecting more than $5 million from contractors executing state-government projects in the state.
According to the online publication, Ganduje collects between 15 and 25 percent of the total contractual sum as kickback from every contract.
The Kano State Government however described the videos as “cloned”, blaming its release on enemies out to tarnish the good name of the governor.

More evidence of Ganduje's Greed aka dollar collection operations. EFCC is in a coma till 2019 on this issue. But were quick to freeze Fayose's account while he was governor.
Just imagine this was Wike..Would the EFCC be this quiet on such an issue?
This is why Buhari has to go pic.twitter.com/1R1DAQvQ45

The way Ganduje smiles and shakes body in the presence of Dollars is something to watch. 🤣🤣🤣

New Ganduje video out everywhere. Not on iTunes. The onus is on the Kano State Assembly to act on the matter while the EFCC get on with investigating the allegations pending the inevitable end of his immunity from prosecution. A further dent on the “anti-corruption” posturing.

Tempted to do satire around the Ganduje issue. But this is no time for satire. If people in Kano are not outraged in the face of those multiple videos then satire is useless. It is not for laughs. There is nothing to laugh about. If they carry on, then they deserve their Governor

In a nation where people have shame;
Ganduje would have resigned by now;
We won’t even have to be shouting;
But Buhari & his shameless Govt;
Will still dance and campaign with Ganduje and tell Kano people that he deserves 2nd term.
That’s how they fight CORRUPTION.

Festus Keyamo who loves to talk about INTEGRITY and CHARACTER is yet to see Ganduje's dollar video 1, 2 or 3. He paints one party as a party of saints and the other as a party of crooks. Paints one candidate as God and the other a Devil. Nigerians are not fools.

How is Ganduje still the Governor of Kano state after video after video keeps coming out of him collecting bribe.
Nigeria needs collective therapy.

The willingness to put out the identity of the contractor for possible identification is perhaps a signal that the man is willing to come out and testify.
If this is the third video in a series of over 12 and it is this damning, Ganduje may as well throw in the towel now. https://t.co/tDylJMGPto

A Governor of the APC that's fighting corruption head on caught on camera taking kickbacks from contractors . This is an undisputable evidence against Ganduje and if by now EFCC doesn't find it worthy of inviting him for questioning #GandujeGate
