The Taraba State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Jalingo has voided the election of Darius Dickson Ishaku who was declared winner after the April 11th election.
The Chairman of the Tribunal, Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar has ordered that Hajiya Aisha Jumai Alhassan be sworn in as governor with immediate effect.
The tribunal based its ruling on the allegation that the Peoples Democratic Party did not hold a proper primary that led to the nomination of Ishaku.
