Gloria Eberechi, popularly known as Bayraychee, the ex-girlfriend of Nigerian singer Omah Lay, has recently opened up about the backlash she has been receiving in her direct messages over a year after their split.
In 2021, Omah Lay had publicly disclosed his love for Bayraychee by sharing a video of the two of them in a passionate moment together. Unfortunately, the relationship was short-lived, as it was later revealed that Bayraychee had ended things with the singer.

In a recent post on her Instagram story, Bayraychee shared screenshots of the insults and negative messages she has been receiving from fans in her direct messages. She expressed shock and disappointment that people were still talking about a breakup that happened so long ago, and expected everyone to have moved on from it.
In her DMs, Bayraychee has been bombarded with questions about why she ended things with Omah Lay, with some fans even suggesting that the singer is still in love with her. Others have gone as far as calling her a “cheat” and claiming that Omah Lay has completely moved on from their relationship and doesn’t acknowledge her existence.
While some followers have been less than sympathetic with the insults, others have reached out to her with kind and soothing messages.
