Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has trademarked her name, ‘Omotola’.
Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde made the announcement via a post she shared on her official Instagram and Twitter pages on Wednesday, February 17.
Taking to her social media space in the early hours of Wednesday, she wrote “OMOTOLA – Trademarked”.

When a name, mostly a business name is trademarked, it means it has been registered under patent laws, which in Nigeria is done by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
It implies that no one, as stated in the copyrights law, is allowed to trade with the name “Omotola” henceforth.
