Ondo Deputy Governor Reappoints Aides Sacked by Governor Akeredolu

The political rift between the Governor and Deputy Governor of Ondo state deepened Tuesday as the latter reappointed aides sacked by Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.

Governor Akeredolu had sacked the special assistant on new media to the deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi earlier on Tuesday.

Allen Sowore was sacked alongside, the chief press secretary to the Deputy Governor, Babatope Okeowo, his wife and five others shortly after the deputy governor decamped from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

According to a report by Daily Post however, all the sacked aides have been reappointed by the Deputy Governor.
