Multiple-award winning musician and songwriter, David Adeleke aka Davido has lambasted a troll who accused him of declaring false Osun gubernatorial results on the internet.
Davido is the nephew of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Sen. Ademola Adeleke.
The troll, Ebenezer Owoyokun had taken to Twitter to caution the popular musician against violating the Electoral Act by publishing “false election result” via his verified Twitter handle.
Owoyokun, who tagged Davido, tweeted: “@iam_Davido Announcing or Publishing a false election result is an offence. It’s a criminal offence punishable by a term of imprisonment. #OsunDecides2018 “

But the Assurance crooner, who was on ground in Osun state to mobilise support for his uncle, would not take the reprimand lying low.

He prompted replied the tweet with: “God punish u”.

With results announced so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the Osun gubernatorial election is proving a two-horse race between Adeleke and the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Gboyega Oyetola.
