A video of Paul Pogba’s brother, Mathias Pogba went viral on TikTok, claiming that he had some damning and explosive things to reveal about the French player.

However, sources reveal that the player has an ongoing investigation with the French authorities regarding a case of “attempted extortion by an organized gang” that involves his brother, Mathias Pogba.

According to France info sport, an investigation has been open since the beginning of August by the French authorities on the attempted extortion by Paul Pogba’s brother, Mathias, some of his childhood friends, and two armed men with assault rifles.

The event occurred when he visited his family in France where the French football team hosted Cote d’Ivoire and South Africa in March. His friends allegedly dragged him to an apartment in Paris and accused him of not coming to their aid after making it big in football. Amongst them, two masked men armed with rifles claimed 13 million euros from him, claiming to have been secretly protecting him for the past 13 years.

According to the player, they had been harassing him and he had met with them several times until he finally recognized his estranged older brother as one of the blackmailers.

He denies not helping his friends and claims to have always been of assistance to them, save for an incident that led to him kicking one of them out of his home in Manchester for using his credit card to steal 200,000 euros.

Paul Pogba’s lawyers say they are not surprised by his brother’s accusations which includes the player’s manager, Rafaela Pimenta, and his France teammate, Kylian Mbappe who his brother accused him of paying a witch doctor to bewitch. The player denies all of these claims.
