The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says it is heartbroken over the death of its former Zonal Chairman, North East and paramount Ruler of Mbamnga Chiefdom in Taraba State, Amb. Emmanuel Quiltomi Njiwah.

In a Sunday statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, the party described Njiwah’s death as a monumental loss to the nation.

“Ambassador Njiwah was a very patriotic leader, teacher, seasoned diplomat, highly resourceful administrator and a highly loved statesman, who spared nothing in his sacrificial contribution towards the unity and development of our dear nation.

“As a member of our party’s National Working Committee before his destined elevation to the exalted stool of the highly revered Mbonduah of Mbamnga Chiefdom, Amb. Njiwah, was a stabilizing force, who made outstanding contributions for the stability, growth and success of our great party in his home state, Taraba, the Northeast zone as well as at the national level.
