Peter Obi :”128 out of 5 million sat for Waec in a Northern state” – Nigerians react

Former Governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi, in an interview with daily sun, revealed that a certain state in the north is so much averse to education, that a miserly 128 students sat for Waec out of about five million people.

He said ”In a state in the north, the number of children that sat for WAEC is 128. A state that has about five million people ”

However, Mr Obi did not mention the state, but most observers pointed accusing fingers to Zamfara state, while others felt the figures propagated by the politician were grossly exaggerated.
