The Nigerian Army has announced a N3 million reward for any credible information leading to the capture of Abubakar Shekau, factional leader of the Boko Haram terror group.

The Army made the announcement in a Thursday evening tweet on its verified Twitter handle.

Recall that the Army had earlier in the week announced that Shekau was on the run disguised as a woman in a blue or black hijab.

The Army also called on the terror leader’s followers to abandon him and surrender.
