Coming after the power merger between the president’s family, Muhammadu Buhari and billionaire businessman, Muhammad Indimi’s family as they both united their children in marriage, the Emir of Kano’s daughter is set to wed on Friday, December 23.
The Emir’s daughter, Fulani Siddika Sanusi will be getting married to her heartrob, Malam Abubakar Umar Kurfi at the Emir’s Palace in Kano on the set date.
However, ahead of the wedding proper, photos from the Emir’s daughter at her Kamu traditional ceremony which held on December 18th has surfaced online.
The photographer responsible for the shots, Maigaskiya said: “During the discussion, the Princess turned towards the Queen and asked ‘ what’s your kamu event like?’.
“With a smile on the Queen’s face she replied ‘it was simple and we had fun. Everything was traditional; the music, attire, decoration and all. It’s was memorable’.
“Hence, it was agreed that everything should be done in accordance with old traditions. Everyone who witnessed the Kamu last night would agreed it was pure traditional kamu in style?”
