PHOTOS: Aiyedatiwa visits Fasoranti, Afenifere leaders, promises to uphold Akeredolu’s legacies

The Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has paid a courtesy call on Pa Reuben Fasoranti and other leaders of Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere in Akure, Ondo State.

Sharing photos of the visit on Facebook, the governor said the visit was to show gratitude to the Afenifere leaders for their role in restoring peace during the political crisis in the state.

The governor said he also shared news of late former Governor, Rotimi Akeredo/.lu’s passing, and pledged to uphold his legacy.

He said the elders emphasised preserving Yoruba heritage and offered continuous support.

“I will always seek their counsel in leading the State forward,” the governor said.
