PHOTOS: Nigerian Navy uncovers, destroys two illegal refining sites laden with 75,000 litres in Bayelsa

The Nigerian Navy has said that its Forward Operating Base Formoso discovered and deactivated two illegal refining sites laden with 75,000 litres of stolen crude oil in Bayelsa State.

In a Facebook post, the Navy said the discoveries were made on Friday, April 5 at Bassambiri and Biokpongo in Nembe Local Government Area of the oil-rich state.

According to the post, two wooden boats laden with 5,000 litres of stolen crude oil and 25,000 litres of illegally refined AGO were confiscated.
