Anambra state Police Command has arrested a politician for blackmailing pregnant woman with nude pictures for refusing to have sex with him.
The woman who collaborated with police officers lured the politician known as ‘Igwe’ to a particular junction after he threatened to release her nude pictures if she does not give in to his sexual demands.
The woman said she was dating the politician before she got married. She ended the relationship but the ex-lover who had a time letting go, continued to disturb her with calls and messages asking them to meet and have a ‘nice’ time together.
She tried to dissuade him with her pregnancy but that did not deter him from making his sexual advances. She intimated her husband who involved the police.
An eyewitness who spoke to Daily Trust said “She said the man who used to be her boyfriend called her recently and asked her to come to Awka for them to have a nice time.

“She told him she was already married and was no longer interested in the relationship, and that besides, she was pregnant for her husband and didn’t wish to be involved in extramarital affair. But the man insisted that she must come, and when she refused, he now sent her a nude picture of her, which he took while they were dating, and threatened to publish the picture on the internet if she refused to come see him one last time.”
