Nnamdi Nwokocha-Ahaaiwe, the lawyer who brought a suit against President Muhammadu Buhari about the authenticity of his Presidential fitness due to his WASC result has now bowed out of the case.

The Lawyer had earlier challenging the authenticity of President Buhari’s Cambridge West African School Certificate WASC. He had alleged that President Buhari did not sit for the Cambridge West African School Certificate WASC) in 1961 as he claimed.

Ahaaiwe has now stepped out of the case, filing a notice before the court dated 27th June 2016 in which he said, “Take note that the plaintiff in this originating summons, Nnamdi Nwokocha-Ahaaiwe, hereby discontinues this action.”

No official reason as to why he withdrew the suit has been given but Ahaaiwe had disclosed earlier in an interview with Thisday that veiled threats had been made on his life.

“Of course, I am concerned and my family and friends are too; I am not naïve and some subtle threats have already been made. For now it is small comfort that if anything happens to me, even if disguised as an accident or anything, Nigerians will know exactly who is responsible” he said.
