Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane has again addressed speculations that the club was considering swapping Cristiano Ronaldo for Liverpool sensation, Mohamed Salah.

At a Tuesday media briefing ahead of Saturday’s UEFA Champions League final, Zidane said Ronaldo or any other Real Madrid player would never be swapped for Salah.

He said, “No. I would not swap Cristiano or any of my players.

“When he doesn’t score, he still knows he will score three or four times in a row. He knows he will get there and he can handle pressure.

“Some players cannot handle pressure. For him, it’s the other way round. The more pressure you give him, the more you criticise him, the better he plays.”

Ronaldo has scored 50 goals this season – 44 goals for Real Madrid and 6 for Portugal – and will be looking to increase his tally against Liverpool to increase his chances for a sixth Ballon D’Or.
