Comedian and actress Real Warri Pikin, known for her humor and vibrant personality, recently opened up about a dark period in her life. She revealed that in 2018, she faced severe financial crisis, which pushed her to the brink of ending her life. Real Warri Pikin, whose real name is Anita Asuoha, shared the details of her suicide attempt during an interview with media personality Chude.

During the tumultuous period between 2017 and 2018, Real Warri Pikin and her husband, Ikechukwu, found themselves burdened with overwhelming debt. The weight of their financial struggles became unbearable, leading Real Warri Pikin to make a desperate decision. On June 6, 2018, she attempted suicide but was fortunately unsuccessful.

Real Warri Pikin vividly recalls the series of events that followed her suicide attempt. She was promptly rushed to three different hospitals for medical attention. As she lay in the hospital bed, regaining consciousness, she couldn’t help but question why she had survived. Realizing that her life had been spared, she made a solemn vow to herself and to a higher power.

She said, “In 2017/2018 my husband and I had financial issues. We were in debt and everything, so when I attempted suicide I’m June 6, 2018, I didn’t die.

They took me to about three different hospitals but in the last hospital when I woke up, I wondered why I didn’t die. I said God, you see this my story, I will use it to help others.

It means if God didn’t allow me to die then, he wanted me to use the story to help others around me and not keep it to myself. The fastest way I could do that was online and I had an Itel small phone that wasn’t clear enough.
