American singer Robyn Rihanna Fenty, popularly known as Rihanna is set to release new album in 2024, with Rapper baby daddy, Rakim Mayers, professionally known as ASAP Rocky.
Rihanna had told British Vogue that the new album was supposed to be released this year, 2023, then her second pregnancy came along.
The singer reveals that her perfectionist trait had held her back from releasing all along, but was finally going to ignore the desire for everything to be perfect, as that will take forever or even deter her from releasing the album all together. She said “I realised that if I keep waiting until this feels right and perfect and better, maybe it’s going to keep taking forever and maybe it will never come out and no, I’m not down to that,”
Although she released a solo music “LIFT Me Up”, jointly written by Rihanna, Nigeria’s Tems and American’s Ryan Coogler, on the 28th of October, 2022, for Black Panther movie, she has since the release of her last album “Anti” in 2016 Rihanna had taken a back step from music.
