World Record holder for long distance speed walking, 38-year-old Yohann Diniz, has set a new record… of being the most humiliated Olympian in the Rio 2016 Olympics Games.
The French athlete was the unfortunate victim of a raging stomach ache during the 50km walk race. While taking the lead in the 45 minute, he began to struggle and fidget; a dark brown liquid oozing from his shorts as he collapsed.
However, Diniz managed to get up and finish the rest of the race, ending up in 11th place. He was still praised for his courage and resilience, despite the humiliation caused by his ill- timed stomach problem.
