Ronaldinho Retires From Football

Former Barcelona star, Ronaldinho has retired from football at the age of 37.

His brother and representative, Assis, disclosed that the footballer, who is considered an idol by many fans and players, called time on his illustrious career this season.

The two-time FIFA Player of the Year winner himself confirmed recently that he felt too old for football and has decided to end his professional  career in the game.

Assis said a tribute match was being considered for the 2005 Ballon D’Or winner after the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Aside Barcelona were he achieved international stardom, Ronaldinho also featured for Gremio, Paris Saint Germain, AC Milan, Flamengo, Atletico Mineiro and Queretaro.

Real name Ronaldo de Assis Moreira, the player won various titles including the FIFA World Cup, FIFA Confederations Cup, Copa America, UEFA Champions League, Spanish La Liga (twice), Spanish Super Cup (twice), and Italian Seria A.
