Minister Sadiya takes over Tradermoni, others from Osinbajo as she resumes NSIP duty

Sadia Umar Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has taken charge of the National Social Investment Programmes (NSIP) formerly under the control of Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo.

This translates that Honourable Minister Sadiya Farouk will henceforth head all assignments regarding Tradermoni, N-power, Market moni, etc.

President Buhari announced in his Independence speech on October 1st of the intended plan to take Social Investment Programmes (SIP)  to the “Next Level” hence the need to create an independent Ministry to handle all its tasks and assignments.

Sadiya Umar Farouq is ready to resume her duties as she has been debriefed of the activities of the Social Investment Programmes. She made this known via her Twitter handle.

“It’s a busy week, #MovingForward, I met with the SSA to @MBuhari on @NSIP_NG, she briefed me on the activities, programmes, achievements and challenges of the establishment. NSIP manages the Social Investment Programmes in Nigeria and is presently under the purview of @FMHDSD” Sadiya tweeted.
