Security Agents Operating Checkpoints Rob And Kill Flashy Car Owners At Night

Following the death of Mr. Adeniyi Oluwatosin Sanni, a senior aide to the senator representing Ogun West, Solomon Adeola, an investigative platform on X, @PIDOMNIGERIA has revealed that robbers killing and stealing cars from lone drivers are security agents, mounting different roadblocks and checking points across the country.

HeraldNG recalls that Sanni was killed on Saturday while on his way to his residence in the Isheri area of the state.

According to an investigation revealed by Mr. Adeola, the deceased was shot by some yet-to-be-identified officers of the Nigerian Army monitoring checkpoints around the Ikeja axis of Lagos State.

The senator made the allegation in a statement he personally signed on Monday and made available to the press.

Adeola said an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of his aide revealed that the soldiers stopped the deceased’s car at a military checkpoint around the Ojodu-Berger area of Lagos and asked him to provide documents of ownership of the car he was driving.

Furthermore, an investigative platform on X, @PIDOMNIGERIA warned drivers not to ride at night. claims armed robbers are now official soldiers and policemen in Nigeria. who use guns procured with taxpayers money to rob and kill innocent unsuspecting Nigerians.

“If you are driving a flashy or expensive car in Nigeria, please don’t drive alone at Nights. The real robbers killing and stealing cars from lone drivers are security agents, mounting different road blocks and checking points across the country. The personal aid to Senator Solomon Adeola, Adeniyi Sanni, was killed by soldiers @HQNigerianArmy officers because of his flashy car.

“They stopped him like a routine stop for questioning or search around Ojodu berger, on his way to Isheri where he stays on the 3rd of August 2023. But they later took him from the checking point to an isolated spot in Lagos, killed him and dumped his body at Oshodi. They stole his car, his phone, and other personal belongings on him. The same set of soldiers stopped another lone driver Yusuf Lawali on the 18th of August 2023.

“Took him to Iyana Ipaja tollgate, killed him, and dumped his body in the bush. They stole the 2022 model Toyota Corolla vehicle he was going to deliver in Abuja. Please be careful out there. Armed robbers are now official soldiers and policemen in Nigeria. Using guns procured with taxpayers’ money to rob and kill innocent unsuspecting Nigerians”.
