Imam Mahroof Onike, the Chief Missioner of Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT), has urged Muslims to seek Allah’s favour and mercy by assisting in building mosques.

Onike made the plea in a statement issued by NASFAT’s Publicity Secretary, Mr Banji Busari, on Monday in Lagos.

The chief missioner spoke at a mega Asalatu prayer organised by NASFAT in furtherance of the fund raising effort for the completion of the N2.5 billion NASFAT Aseese Mosque, Agege, Lagos.

Onike said that Muslims, who strived and spent their resources for Allah’s cause would earn their reward here and the hereafter.

“It is most rewarding for Muslims to spend their legally-acquired wealth on the cause of Allah and building of mosques is integral in this regard.

“Muslims who imbibe this important act of charity will be blessed abundantly on earth and the hereafter,’’ the chief missioner said.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the fundraiser was attended by over 50 branches of NASFAT across Lagos State. (NAN)
