Sotitobire: Prophet Alfa sentenced to life imprisonment over missing boy

The Ondo State High Court sitting in Akure has sentenced the founder of Sotitobire Praising Chapel, Prophet Babatunde Alfa and five others to life imprisonment after finding them culpable in the 2019 disappearance of a one-year-old child, Gold Kolawole from the church.

The other accused persons are Omodara Olayinka, Margaret Oyebola, Grace Ogunjobi, Egunjobi Motunrayo, and Esther Kayode.

Justice Olusegun Odusola found the accused persons guilty of two-count charges bordering on kidnapping, aiding and abetting to kidnap preferred against them by the prosecution.

Kolawole had gone missing from the premises of the church which his parents took him to.

All efforts to trace his whereabouts proved abortive.
