Barcelona striker Luis Suarez celebrated the first-year anniversary of his debut for the club on Sunday when he netted a spectacular hat-trick to secure all three points for the club against Eibar, after they initially but surprisingly went behind.
Suarez made his debut in an official game for the Blaugrana exactly a year ago on Sunday in the El Clasico against bitter rivals Real Madrid.
The Uruguayan has gone on to score 35 goals in 57 appearances since his switch from Liverpool, as Barca are still without talismanic forward Lionel Messi whose knee injury is expected to keep him out of action till December.
In the absence of the Argentine, the goal-scoring mantle fell on Suarez and Neymar who have been showing their class in front of goal.
The win against Eibar means Barcelona go joint top with Real Madrid with the Los Blancos ahead on goal difference.
