Sugarboy’s extortion scheme fails as sugar mummy dies in custody

Uwadiegwu Henry, 25, and two others have been arrested by men of the Nigerian Police Force in connection with the death of a 40-year-old woman identified as Helen Peters.

The culprits were arrested for having kidnapped and detained the deceased to extort money from her rich husband as ransom.

The offence was committed according to Tribune at 36, Fashola Street, Papa Ashafa, in Agege area of Lagos.

Henry explained to the police that he was the deceased’s boyfriend until her death, the sugar boy who worked with his two other accomplices, Monday Ochonu, 25 and Taiwo Adebiyi, explained that Taiwo got Lagatine Injection which was used to incapacitate the victim for easy kidnap from a nurse.

In further explanation, the third accomplice, Monday, was said to be responsible for tying the deceased victim’s hands and legs backwards with a rope, her death however was as a result of suffocation by a piece of cloth  he tied to her mouth.
