In a bid to curb the spread of HIV/AIDs, Tanzanian president John Magufuli has banned miniskirts across the country saying he believes the garments, along with short dresses significantly contribute to the spread of the disease.

Magufuli who is known for his cost cutting measures has once again surprised the Tanzanian populace with another disease cutting measure.

Recently, he ordered all foreigners, including Kenyans with or without work permits, to relinquish their jobs to the Tanzanians.

The President who has been nicknamed ‘Bulldozer’ echoes the sentiments of Zimbabwean First Lady Grace Mugabe, who claims that women should be blamed for rape.
