The Mafia Is the Reason Why Ronaldo Didn’t Win Ballon d’Or- Sister

Cristiano Ronaldo missed out on the Ballon d’Or with the prize going instead to Luka Modric and a lot of people have take issue with this.

But probably the most bizarre explanation for the snub came from Cristiano Ronaldo’s own sister, Elma, who claimed that it was the mafia that stood in her brother’s way.

The Portuguese has a close knit family with the sisters always having his back be it a rape allegation, a red card or a Ballon d’Or snub.

Ronaldo had a great year, winning the Champions League trophy again and finishing the season as the highest goalscorer in Europe. This, it seems, was not enough to win him the prize.

The Juventus Star’s sister took to her Instagram to lambast UEFA and the mafia for not recognizing her brother

“Unfortunately this is the world we live in, rotten, with mafia and f******g money.

“The power of God is a lot greater than all this rottenness. God takes his time but he doesn’t fail.” she said
