Thai cellphone firm True Move H has racked up more than 5 million YouTube views in less than a week with its tear-jerking new spot.

The 3-minute clip — hailed as “remarkable,” “touching” and “inspiring” — starts with a small boy being chased out of a pharmacy by the owner.

Caught stealing, medicine is taken out of his hand. He tells the owner that it’s for his sick mom. A cafe owner then comes over and pays for the stolen goods, giving the boy the drugs and some food from his restaurant.

Cut to 30 years later, and the cafe owner is seen handing over a bag of food to a homeless man – but he suddenly collapses.

In the hospital, his daughter is hit with his $24,000 medical bill.

Without any money, she puts their house up for sale — and she is then shown sleeping with her head on her father’s hospital bed.

Waking up, she finds a new medical bill that now reads zero.

A note explains that “all expenses have been paid 30 years ago, with three packs of painkillers and a bag of veggie soup.”

It emerges that the doctor is the boy that had been busted stealing from the pharmacy three decades earlier.

“Giving is the best communication,” reads the tag at the end.

YouTube viewer Tristan Blair described the advertisement as: “Absolutely beautiful, arguably one of the best commercials i have ever seen.”

And Michael Trg wrote: “Watched this video 3 times, still lose it at the veggie soup payment part.”
