Ondo: Tinubu Wades Into Gov. Akeredolu And Aiyedatiwa's Feud

President Bola Tinubu will today meet Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa and aides of ailing Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

It was gathered that the meeting is meant to resolve the ongoing leadership crisis in the state.

Other stakeholders in the oil-rich state, especially members of the State House of Assembly, are expected to attend the meeting.

The meeting comes barely two days after Ondo State Elders and Leaders appealed to the president to urgently intervene in the constitutional crisis in the state and avert the looming breakdown of law and order.

Besides calling for presidential intervention, the elders led by Convener, Reuben Fasoranti and Secretary, Bakkita Bello, had advised the state assembly against impeaching either the governor or his deputy.

They further urged the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to maintain discipline in their ranks and provide guidance for those in government in the state.
