A man who was attacked by two women who furiously twerked on him in a short CCTV video that went viral online has finally broken his silence on the matter, saying he was assaulted by the women.

According to the 40-year-old Washington Tharpe, the episode was more than mere dirty dancing, it was a case of sexual assault.

The school teacher said of the October 7 incident in Washington D.C:  “It looks like I just had some girls twerking on me and I just called the police. That is not what happened at all.”

He said though the video showed the woman dancing provocatively in front of him, groping his private part and trying to grab his money, it did not show them chasing him outside until he had to hide.

At a point, he said, he thought the ladies were going to kill him.

Tharpe, who was initially reluctant to come out, said he finally decided to do so with the hope that his story would help anyone else who might be a victim of such assault.

One of the twerkers, Ayanna Marie Knight, was finally arrested on Nov. 10, and charged with sexual abuse in the third degree, although her partner is still at large.
