Gunmen have abducted four Chinese Nationals in Cross River State, killing one police officer in the process.
Kan Jinxi, Hujinchang, Jiang Jijun, and Cheng Qin were abducted from Danatrite Construction company at Oban, within Akamkpa local government area of Cross River State.
A police sergeant, Ifere Sampson was shot dead during the abduction of the Chinese Nationals on Tuesday.

The public relations officer for the police command in Cross River State, DSP Irene Ugbo confirmed the incident on Wednesday and said a police team has been dispatched to find out where the kidnapped Chinese are being kept.
“The Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations has mobilised policemen to Oban. They are going to comb that area and I hope by the end of the day, I will know how far they went and how the victims were kidnapped.”
The Spokesperson said in a statement.
Another woman whose husband was killed by kidnappers in 2018 was also abducted on Tuesday in the state.
