What will happen to APC after 2023 – Rochas Okorocha Reveals

Senator Rochas Okorocha has disclosed that the All Progress Congress (APC) might lose power in 2023 if the internal crisis within the ranks of the party’s leadership continues.

Okorocha who on Saturday, November 2, made this suggestion in Kano state, stated that the crisis between the APC national chairman, Adams Oshiomole and Governor Godwin Obasaki of Edo state as one of the internal crisis in the party.

The former Imo state governor, however, advised that a political party should be a group of people who share common political interests and beliefs.

The senator stated that the existence of a persistent internal crisis in any party showed that the said party does not have a common ideology among its members.

Earlier,  The Herald reported that Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki as well as Oba Rilwan Akiolu were attacked at the home of the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomole.

According to a statement signed by Obaseki’s Special Assistant for Media, Obaseki as well as every other person who were attacked escaped without injuries.

Obaseki’s assistant, Crusoe Osagie, said Obaseki and every other person had attended the maiden convocation ceremony of the Edo University, Iyahmo, Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State, when the incident happened.
