According to the World Health Organization (WHO), eight out of ten women in Nigeria use skin whitening products. This begs the question, is white skin the right skin?
Millions of women in Nigeria seem to think so and this is fueled by insecurities and social misconceptions amongst Nigerian women that lighter skinned women are more socially acceptable, attractive and successful.
