Croatia have thrashed Argentina 3-0 in their second Group D match on Thursday.
Ante Rebic, Luka Modric and Ivan Rakitic grabbed a goal each as dominant Croatia humbled Jorge Sampaoli’s men with Argentine legend Diego Maradona watching helplessly in the stands.
The loss means Argentina have 1 point from a possible 6 and stand a great risk of being eliminated should Iceland secure a win against Nigeria on Friday afternoon.
