Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson was physically assaulted by a Nigerian male fan in Ghana over the weekend for refusing his request for a hug.
The crazy male fan that has since been identified as one Elvis Eze reportedly chased the actress to her car and shoved her aside roughly.
Eze was one of the many guests invited to the birthday party of actress Ingrid Alabi in Accra. Other Ghanaian celebrities at the occasion include Eddie Nartey, Van Vicker, Nikki Samonas, Jasmine Baroudi, Khareema Aguiar, KOD and Ghana Movie Awards boss Fred Nuamah.
Ghanaian blog, NewsOne reported that the enraged fan then launched into a verbal attack on the terrified actress. It took the timely intervention of eyewitnesses to wrestle her free from the grip of infuriated man.
Yvonne Nelson reported the incident to the East Legon Police and a team enlisted the help of Ingrid Alabi to locate Elvis. But when the team got to his house, Elvis was not available and has been on the run.
