Arsenal injury worries deepen as Keiran Gibbs a doubt for the Burnley game

Kieran Gibbs has deepened Arsenal’s injury crisis.

The left-back damaged his hip in Arsenal’s game at Sunderland last Saturday and Arsene Wenger says he is a doubt for the Burnley game.

Gunners boss Wenger is already without centre-back Laurent Koscielny and right-back Mathieu Debuchy in defence and if Gibbs miss out too it will leave the London club short of options.

Jack Wilshere also suffered a knock before his suspension and there have been fears he could also be joining Arsenal’s injury list but Wenger is hoping he will make it.

The Frenchman said: “There are a few uncertainties, like Kieran Gibbs. Apart from that, everyone should be available.

“Wilshere is back from suspension. Gibbs is a hip problem. He is a doubt but we’ll know more tomorrow.”
