ISIS who now run Boko Haram as its West African affiliate has announced a new leader for the terrorist sect.
The new leader of the Boko Haram in West Africa is one Abu Musab al-Barnawi who before now was the spokesman of the group.
According to the BBC, the announcement was made by ISIS via the latest issue of their magazine which featured its first interview with Abu Musab al-Barnawi.
Nothing was said about Shekau who has not been seen in any propaganda videos since August of 2015.
