A Pennsylvania woman was arrested Monday for allegedly running over and killing her boyfriend during an argument and fleeing the scene.
Esther Brubaker, 36, was charged with homicide by vehicle and causing an accidents involving a death, according to court records.
Police say that Brubaker struck Jeremy Anderson, 34, with her minivan outside their Silver Spring home before taking off, according to Philadelphia’s NBC affiliate WCAU.
The station reported that Anderson’s body was found with prominent tire marks on his body when police found him about 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
The couple’s nanny told police that their children were inside the home at the time of hit-and-run, reported The Patriot-News of Central Pennsylvania.
Police later found Brubaker with slurred speech and balance issues at a bar, court documents show.
Anderson, who was pronounced dead on the spot, is reportedly the same man who was kicked and Tasered by police last April. Brubaker recorded the violent arrest and posted video of it to YouTube, where it captured media attention.
Last September, Brubaker was arrested for stealing $300 worth of groceries from a Giant supermarket, according to WHTM.
Brubaker is in custody in lieu of $1 million bail. Her preliminary hearing is set for Oct 9.
