Popular Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade will perform in the opening ceremony of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote d’Ivoire.
While expressing her joy at the great opportunity, Yemi Alade shared her excitement in a recent post on her official X handle.
The opening ceremony of the AFCON tournament is slated for today, Saturday, January 13, 2024.
She said; “I can’t buttress the importance of prayer and speaking your heart desires into existence.
“Since 2016, I have desired to perform at the stadium for football ceremonies surrounded by hundreds of dancers and people.
“7 years later, I’m performing at AFCON. It is indeed an honour and a dream come true. It’s just the beginning.”
