Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, has attacked Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party (LP), respectively.

Tinubu said at a rally in Gbaramatu, Delta state, on Friday that the LP candidate’s “wrong statistics” are not what Nigeria needs right now.

This is the second time the former Lagos governor has openly confronted Abubakar and Obi at a rally.

When the APC presidential candidate launched his campaign in Plateau recently, he referred to the PDP candidate as having the “wrong theory” and Obi as being “disobedient.”

Tinubu described himself as one of “a few” presidential candidates still in the race while speaking at a rally in Gbaramatu attended by Oboro II, the Pere of Gbaramatu.

“As I stand before you, there are a few of us left running. One says he is Atiku. How many times has he been running? He is always on the run and he is tired. Tell him to go and sit down. Enough is enough,” Tinubu said.

“The other one think na statistics we go chop. He lies with arithmetic that no Indian can solve. To mention his name is a disgrace to me. I won’t mention the name. Wrong arithmetic, wrong statistics, warehouse economy — that is not what Nigeria needs.

“Your royal majesty, it was a joy to find one of my own blood being part of you from Badagry. So, whatever you need, you need honesty? You need the man who knows the road? That is me.

“I promise, we won’t be far away from you. We will carry you along. We will consult with you regularly. Our brothers here, we will embrace them. A renewed hope is here standing before you and I promise that with the support of God Almighty, you will live long.”
