No fewer than six persons have been killed by gunmen who launched a dare-devil attack on Sabo Area of Ondo town, Ondo State on Wednesday night.
The gunmen suspected to be bandits reportedly attacked the area on motorcycles.
It was learnt that some residents were robbed by the assailants.
The latest attack occurred barely three days after scores of worshippers were killed at the St Francis Catholic Church, Owo.
Sunday’s attack had sent shock waves across the nation, as videos circulated of bloodied worshippers lying lifeless on the floor of the church.
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami, confirmed the latest incident.
She said that the incident was a robbery which the command was working to unravel.
