We all have different ways of reacting to provocation. While some confront the source of the provocation in person, some take to social media to vent their anger and others just take it in their stride and keep mute.
Music diva Omawumi posted on social media this weekend that she would rather slap a person who insults her than take to social media to pour vituperations on the person.
In fact, she said she was moved to tongue-lash someone who annoyed her on Instagram but was advised against doing so by manager Sunday Are and fashion designer Bukola Are.
“Good morning! So I was really upset yesterday and I wanted to vent on social media. With advice from @sunday.are and @bukolaare I decided to cool down. Besides my own na face to face so if anyhow talk start, slap dey follow… No be this social media quarrel wey no dey sweet!
“Moving on… God has given me a lot to rejoice about and I’m excited about my new single out soon! Have a great weekend peeps!” she said.
