Alhaji Mujahid Zaitawa, chairman of the Northern Youth Political Merger Group has described the APC National Chairman, John Oyegun, as a “political stooge craftily working for the PDP.”
Zaitawa made this statement on Wednesday, April 20.
The APC national chairman was quoted to have said that the APC was ready to sacrifice the seat of Senate president to the PDP in the face of the trial of Senator Bukola Saraki.
He noted that the APC came into being as a result of merger, spearheaded by people of ‘like minds.’
He further added that sacrificing the seat of the senate president on the altar of primordial considerations would be a recipe for disaster.
Chief Oyegun appears to have lost his calculus by making a statement capable of conceding the fate of APC to the PDP,” Zaitawa said.
